A rugby ball urn made from walnut and sycamore in the standard 2 oval design.
Black resin has been used to fill in any defects before being turned, sanded and finished.
Finished with cellulose sanding sealer and clear wax before a carnauba wax buff, ensuring it's not only protected from handling but the sheen will last and bring out the rich chocolate colours of the walnut.
A standard kicking tee as pictured can be made from oak or the walnut offcut from the same walnut blank. A horizontal stand can be provided instead if desired - useful for lots of handling or for less secure display locations.
