This urn is made from London plane and sycamore in the standard 2 oval design.
The timber was processed over several stages to ensure it is as stable as possible before being made into the blank. The lid features a boxwood threaded insert which is secure but can be undone by hand. When tightened it is grain matched and almost seamless.
The ball is finished with sanding sealer before a clear wax finish. This provides a tactile mild sheen whilst ensuring the wood is protected from handling.
A timber kicking tee with a custom plaque will be provided with this ball.
